  3. Karen your killing me with that comment . . . lol . . . did I detect a hint of sarcasm?

Ok, Ren is going to win the prize unless someone can provide me with the genus and species name of this "squirrel"!

  5. That is a flying squirrel. My parents have two that visit their bird feeders every night. Neat creatures.

  7. Okay, Fine. It's scientific name is Pteromyini or Petauristini. There are 44 species, but I don't know what yours is.

  8. Karen, no need to continue to impress me with your squirrel knowledge. I already said you won! Now I just need to determine a suitable prize . . . hmmmm . . . tanned and preserved squirrel skin?

  9. You sweet talker you! What girl wouldn't want a preserved squirrel skin?!

  10. Karen, Well it was either that or the preserved coyote pecker I have sitting on my workbench. Figured the squirrel skin was more appropriate. LOL

  11. LOL......Oh I wouldn't want to take your prized preserved coyote winkie. It obviously means a lot to you since you display it on your workbench. Besides, I don't need a prize for being able to recognize a squirrel. ha ha

  14. Perkunas,

Had to Google "Liito" . . . the European cousin of Northern Flying Squirrel. Apparently a million years ago strong wind currents sailed one of these little guys across he big pond! lol!
