As these photos show, game cameras really do assist hunters in pinpointing times and areas where turkeys congregate. With a couple well placed game cameras in areas thought to hold birds, hunters can also quickly see the quality of the animals that are coming through. This creates an advantage for the hunter that allows them to save time and hopefully harvest a mature Tom. Good luck to all those, in pursuit of turkeys this spring season!
Game cameras certainly make things easier in terms of establishing patterns of movement. My wife bought mine several years ago as a Christmas present, she said there were no excuses about being in the woods waiting for a deer that is there at another time. Got to give the ladies credit for reducing my time in the field hours and more investment time in the emotional bank account.
ReplyDeleteI became turned on to game cameras a couple of years ago- they have become an enjoyable pastime of mine and are great to use for hunting purposes as well as to photograph animals that you would not normally pursue.
