http://www.gunsmithingschool.org/hunting-blogs. They have done a nice job of creating an extensive list of what they have identified as the top 50 Hunting Blogs from across the country. The list includes a few of my favorites and several other interesting blogs I had not heard of before and plan to add to my blog roll. Yours truly is listed somewhere near the middle of the "Rest of the Best" listing and is described by the folks at the Gunsmithing School Site as:
A blogger writing under the benign pseudonym, Rabid Outdoorsman whose passionate skills are put to excellent use in the fertile fields of Maine. Who do they think they are calling me "BENIGN", do they have any idea who they are dealing with!?! :)
You are pretty favorable, however I'm sure you wouldn't want it to have been stated as "malignant persona"...

ReplyDeleteAny list that does not include "The Downeast Duck Hunter" or "Brave Eagles Hunt with Antique Brownings" is to be honest not much of a list! :)
ReplyDeleteI did agree with a few of them like yours and "The Wild Life" and "Scent Free Lip Gloss", but some of those on that list are not worth reading.

At least one thing has gotten better since my "rise" to blog frog fame. Eat your collective hearts out over my new follower "Foxy Saurus"! To the victor go the spoils!! :)

This list does contain some grt blogs, but it was clearly written by someone who either has never read them or just read them the day they compiled the list. Case in point when Albert refers to the rodeo it's a collection of blogs, he's not writing ABOUT the rodeo.
